Department of Interior approves ANWR O&G leasing plan

What jobs was she wanting them to be retrained for? I know in oklahoma there aren't good paying jobs to be retrained for in alot of areas they just don't exist. And obama brought more regulations against coal so he definitely had an impact.

Is hunting big game accompanied by a dog legal?

In arkansas you can hunt deer with dogs in some areas not sure if it's the entire state just know the south west corner because I was planning on hunting there, didn't think any state still allowed that.

    BigFoot Season

He claimed it was to increase tourism but I honestly don't see how anything good could come from it. Somebody could easily say they "accidentally" shot somebody and there are a decent amount druggies in the mountains down here. I know a few people that have had guns pulled on them out there.

    Biden Administration stops ANWR development

People will still purchase trucks because there are still some people that use them for work. Compact cars and electric vehicles still use fossil fuels, very little electricity overall comes from renewable energy. As far as treating the earth like a 1980 rv I would rather use oil than solar/...

    Biden Administration stops ANWR development

Agreed, I'm for the keystone pipeline but that's assuming that it's safe based upon both administration's giving bit the go ahead. Either way now there's many people out of work in a time that there's not much work to be had for their trade, all because a politician wanted to score some points...

    Biden Administration stops ANWR development

I I agree on the pipeline now there's 10-15000 people out of work but for some reason alot of people have to be 100% for or against when it comes to these things. Now oil is going to be hauled by semis instead of a pipeline.

    Biden Administration stops ANWR development

And the permian has been around almost 100 years so there's really no telling how long they'll last especially with fracking and any new technology that will come up down the road.

    Biden Administration stops ANWR development

We may need to at some point but there was no point in trying to start especially with oil low they just wanted their foot in the door for later. If they wait and present there case when it's needed people might understand instead of trying to push it through. Again I don't believe oil is going...

    Biden Administration stops ANWR development

I'm all for oil&gas hell I worked on a rig but I don't understand the point in them trying to expand right now it's not like we don't have oil in west/south texas, New Mexico, oklahoma, north dakota and many other places that have already been drilled and have the infrastructure in place...

Update - U.S. supreme Court case - Crow Tribe

The tribes have had good relations as far as I know with the oklahoma wildlife department so I assume they would continue that by prosecuting violators. The cherokee nation is going to start buying land for their members to hunt and fish so it would seem they're not going to let people hunt...

Update - U.S. supreme Court case - Crow Tribe

Spot on, I haven't heard anything but they've been meeting with our attorney general since the ruling. Also the court system is going to get backed up even more because I would imagine many will want there cases retried.

Does the price of fuel impact your hunting plans?

Was planning on hunting out west for the first time last year and was laid off along with most oilfield workers in oklahoma so higher gas prices would help me because I'll be able to go back to the oilfield, glad it happened before I put my applications in. Talked to a few companies and they're...

Did I miss the memo on Ammunition stock-pile?

I wasn't there to buy ammo but yes if there's ammo in stock just order it online as long as it's not marked up. I'm also not sure if they're restocking everyday or how often but I usually buy ammo in the store as opposed to online, just a personal preference.

Update - U.S. supreme Court case - Crow Tribe

They could possibly tax and regulate oil&gas companies also. It wouldn't impact much oil drilling as most is in the western half of the state and west texas/New Mexico has been where most of the companies kept some rigs running during this last year. What could be interesting is what happens...
