Chase AZ elk archery tag vs burning points for a late season rifle or muzzy hunt?
TN what did you decide on for this year? I hunted the late rifle in 2023. I had a blast, and had some chances that didn't quite come together, but it was a tough hunt. Arizona 2nd choice
I always shoot for the stars with my first choice. With AZs draw structure if that hunt does not have more tags alloted, they look at your second choice before moving on. I drew an early archery tag this year, just waiting to find out which unit! Only had 4 points- FR_Hunter

Looking at GoHunt, it does appear that the early rifle hunt on 3A/3C is not happening this year. Didn't check the actual regs, but noticed that hunt isn't listed.- FR_Hunter

AZ Elk, When do the charges typically hit?
I gave up hope on Wednesday when my card wasn't hit, and told my wife I wasn't hunting Arizona this year.... Then Thursday morning i was very surprised to see the card charge! I had to go back to her and break the news... early archery elk in September! -
