That Dibble bar will be your best friend. I have the one made by jim gem. Not only can you plant seedlings 10x as fast, I feel like I get way better survival since you don't disrupt the ground a ton.
Selling my luxe 4p megapeak tent along with the luxe 3w titanium stove. Used for a week in colorado. In perfect condition. Comes with 5/6th bathtub floor as well as a handful of upgraded stakes. Last I checked this combo without the floor goes for $700 but I'm certain last year i got it for less...
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I have become more and more of a weenie with loud rifles and I do not enjoy shooting a 17hmr without hearing protection. But with a can it's shockingly quiet. Squirrels get real confused what's going on when their buddy just falls out of a tree.
I too don't get my golden out hunting as much as I should, usually only a handful of times a year. But you really can't beat a golden for a family dog/ hunting dog combo.
I have the ares btr and my brother has the ares etr. I think for hunting situations the etr is a little big. The btr is slightly smaller and has done everything I have asked, always dials correctly, returns to zero and I really enjoy the lighted reticle.
Headed out elk hunting in a little over a week. This will be my first legit "back country" hunt. I cannot stop thinking about getting an elk down (hopefully) and cooking some tenderloins miles from civilization. Just curious if anyone else does this, if so how do you go about it? Build a fire...
Just to be clear, I participate in both rifle and bow hunting of mulies in the badlands. I wasn't trying to say one is better than the other. But just using my own anecdotal evidence, I feel like the amount of wounded animals to recovered/tagged animals is much higher with archery. Again, just...
I think the amount of deer that get wounded with archery needs to be a consideration as well. I have seen multiple deer with arrows sticking out of them or visibly wounded which will most likely be lethal by the end of the year.
I appreciate you taking the time to write up that little story. Gives me a little hope I guess! The counseling route has crossed my mind before but never gave it real consideration, maybe it's time for that to change. Thanks again.
I just read this entire thread and it leaves me more confused. My wife of of 6 years does not seem to be the person she used to be. I'm the kind of guy who gets excited (possibly overly excited) about everything, a hunting trip, getting to go out for a date night, whatever. She literally has no...
I have a hard time believing that Luxe doesn't see everyone bashing their customer service. They fill a niche on backpacking tipis at a reasonable price and could be a great product for a lot of people, but they seem to be blowing it. I have a luxe stove and tent, never had any issues with the...
1. Yes
2. That unit only
3. No application, go hunt!
Not sure what unit you are in but western ND chasing mulies is by far my favorite hunting there is.
