Who would vote to do away with point schemes? The points game seems to work okay for 4-5 point units that have enough tags to cycle hunters through every few years, but most of us can forget ever catching up to the really high demand units. I believe ID and NM are the only states that don't...

Deer Hunting during OTC Elk Season in CO

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about scouting a 3rd season OTC Elk unit that overlaps with 3rd rifle deer season this year before burning 11 deer points next year.

2020 OTC Elk Hunting Pressure

What are y'alls thoughts on OTC elk hunting pressure this year? I ask because limited entry tag applications increased in most states. I was hoping draw odds would improve this year and ended up striking out on all my applications.
