Trump Rescinds Ban on OHV use on Public Lands

So, let's talk about enforcement capability for a minute... EO's like this create an expectation that will have to be dealt with by an already overtaxed workforce that has had dozens of new and unnecessary rules/actions thrust upon them. If the strategy is to swamp federal lands with new rules...

Bad news for BLM, just got worse.

Our values are still there. Including the unfortunate values of hate, racism and the worship of idols and money. I'm afraid America is showing its true colors. And the wealthy white folks still have all the power and still don't like the idea of women, people of color or immigrants making any...

100% agree. I blame our current situation as much on the fringe dems as I do on the fringe maga crowd. In all honesty, our primary system is the problem. If we don't change that, nothing will ever improve.

You gotta hand it to them. They have conviction. Doubling down on actions that are even unpopular with the base heading into the mid-terms... It's like they know the train tracks lead to a cliff but they just keep throwing in the coal. Astounding.

Trump lifting restrictions on hunting in national parks and other areas...

Most of the public that use NPS lands have no idea that some NPS lands are in fact, open to hunting already. Some of my most memorable hunts in fact, were on NPS lands.

Savage Revel .22 classic - opinions?

Couple of Savages and a Howa Superlite. Only the .300 WSM weighs more than 7 lbs. scoped and it's only 7 1/4 lbs. I do a lot of walking/hiking when I hunt. The difference between carrying a 7 lb. rifle and a 8 or 9 lb. rifle doesn't sound like much until you've been carrying it all day at...

Savage Revel .22 classic - opinions?

My brother in law has a 39a that his father bought him in the 1970's. It hangs over the doorway and he has stories about adventures with that gun that go on and on. I get it. Bottom line is everyone should be blessed enough to own at least one quality .22 rifle and use it enough that it has...

Savage Revel .22 classic - opinions?

I guess we all have different preferences for our tools. For the past 35 years, I've carried a Winchester model 57 bolt action .22 through the woods and to the range. It's the most accurate .22 I've ever shot, and it was made in the 1920's. Once shot a running gray squirrel off a branch while...

Savage Revel .22 classic - opinions?

39a triggers and Browning BLR triggers are the primary reason I no longer own either one, despite having lusted over them for decades. No gun that pretty should have such a shi..y trigger IMO.
