    New AZ portal email

    I got logged in initially and it said I had no bonus points. Called in to Phoenix and they said it wasn’t transferred over. They said it would take 24-48 hours to update. Checked two days later and my points were back! Then I log back in again and my points are gone...again.

    Boots for Elk Hunting?

    Boots are like a pickup. It’s all about personal preference. I’ve gone through upteen amounts of boots before I settled on a pair I loved. I finally found the Scarpa Fuegos fit my feet the best. They’re stiff sole boots which take some getting used to but are great for steep mountain terrain.

    Idaho Resident capped tags

    Got mine. Got in line an hour and a half before they went on and had one guy in front of my hunting partner and I. Got my tag at 10:04 and was tag 468. We got B tags and are thinking they sold out in approximately 7 minutes if they were going at that rate.

    I didn’t draw my OIL tag so out my wife in for a Hail Mary deer and elk tag. Hoping we played the draw swings right this year.

    Very true, but if by chance that 10% hasn’t been met yet when your unit comes around, all non-res have the same chance as residents in a 2 tag unit such as the one I applied for. At least that’s the way I understand it.

    No goat tag for me... draw odds as a resident dropped in half this year in comparison to last year because non-res apps doubled.
