No. Medium duper, normal duper and any well placed shot with a 100gr or larger bullet traveling at an adequate rate of speed will do it. Eg people killing bull elk with 100gr archery broadheads.
I picked up a ‘19 new off the lot a few months ago. I don’t pull regularly enough to go with the diesel, so I went gas. No regrets, zero issues 10k miles in.
I'm in the same boat as yourself and look to be on this hunt solo. I've searched the forums on here and have PM'd a handful of members here who have provided some great tips. I'm in ABQ so I'll definitely be able to get some scouting trips in closer to season.
