    I also agree I started to carry a 20 gauge in the turkey woods about 15 years ago and most guys laughed at me or called me a girl.     With all the restrictions on travel I can't get to many of my usual hunt locations. I was scouting a bit and found one close that the landowner said I could hunt. So spring turkey may not be a total loss this year ! Bow only though !

    This wont tell for 100 percent its a Merriams but if you go to the NWTF turkey records search page and look for the birds taken in Colorado that were accepted as merriams then see if any were accepted from the county you shot it in and if yes you know the NWTF would take it as one :)
