Fixed power scopes 6x end of an era?
I've searched and come up short. All the usual suspects, Leupold, Nikon, Bushnell, Burris seem to be out of the fixed power scope business. Leup has a 6 x 42mm but it's rather large, I find their 6x36mm on ebay but commands a pretty penny. Am I too out of the game, time to turn the page and...- Empire State

Evaulting used 300 Magnum rifle before purchase
Being the off-season, doing some shopping for a new rifle, I decided I want (need?) one, and this is generally a good time to shop. So, looking at used rifles, how do I evaluate a used rifle sitting on the rack at my local gun shop. What do I look for? Red flags?- Empire State
