CO Kicked My A$$
I use Recover ORS at high elevations. It's a high concentration electrolyte powder that you put into water. One or two of those per day work really well for me. Without them, I do get altitude sickness the 1st day or so in the mountains.- GringoBling

First elk...
I don't hunt with a bow, but I consider an archery bull to be quite a challenge. The amount of time spent scouting is far more time consuming than rifle. That being said, the first few times you elk hunt are really all about learning from your mistakes and understanding the sport. Maybe consider...- GringoBling

Unit 67 CO
I've hunted GMU 67 about 10 times and have harvested 6 bulls there. Last year's bull and my bull from 2016 have both scored well over 300, so there are good elk in there for sure. The key is get away from other hunters. Go higher up and away from roads and camps. I prefer to stalk and hike in...- GringoBling
