DIY Velvet Euro
Took my velvet buck in to the taxi for a euro. Said 450 bucks... Seems a bit steep to me. Anyone out there have any velvet bucks euro'd and what was the price? I'm thinking I might go back and pick him up and attempt a DIY euro. Possibly with a sous vide so the steam doesn't damage the fuzz...- ZMT588

Opening morning gender neutral success.
Found this guy 3 days ago. Had him patterned out pretty well. Hiked in before light and watched him and 4 other bucks for about 2 hours this morning. Wasn’t really planning on filling my tag opening morning. Told myself if he gives me an easy opportunity I’ll take it. Didn’t want to chase him... -

Looks like I’m gonna fork out some dough for a new firearm. New Bug-a-salt auto loader. Watched a video and this thing packs a punch. Co2 powered. The bugs around my stomping grounds won’t even stand a chance. -
In the market for a range finder.
Looking to spend around 300 bucks for a new range finder. What are you guys recommending? I was hoping for a sig kilo 2000 but they seem to be out of production now. Not opposed to other brands. Price may vary a bit. -

Gunsmiths help
So while out today my rifle came out of the sling and dropped barrel tip first into the concrete. I tried to catch it but to no avail. I inspected it and noticed there is a small chunk of the barrel push into then bore. Any ideas on what I should do? Take it to a gun smith and have him bore it... -
Super zoom Cam or New lense.
I'm looking at getting a new super zoom cam IE Canon SX70 or the Panasonic FZ80 or Nikon Coolpix P900. I'm partial to Canon as I already have a Canon Camera and like the user interface (thought I'm sure I can easily learn a new camera system).
