I haven't owned any Sitka gear. I have bought some kuiu in thge past and its been pretty good. My closet seems to be filled primarily with Kryptek and Kings stuff right now. Elk Hunting Knives........
I have 2 different Morakniv knives. They are serious value. I have a couple much higher dollar knives that dull way faster and weigh more. My Morakniv does more work for me on breaking down an animal than any other these days.- jbseamus83

I don't know all of the intricacies of this type of stuff, but this is exactly where my mind went as well.
