Have some I no longer need and want to trade for some I can use.
4 full boxes of Federal PS 150's
1.5 boxes of Sierra 165 TGK
Also would be interested in a can of Blackhorn 209.
PM if interested. Thanks
Mine is an older one with 40mm Obj and target dot reticle. I place it's value at around $400, having traded my Browning Buckmark with wood grips for it.
I'm basically a revolver and 1911 guy. Love my Kimber Micro9. Have the version with day/night sights...perfect for older eyes. Also have a Ruger SR1911 Officer's size in 9. Replaced the factory sights with a set of Heinie Straight 8's. Really like them. Can also recommend S&W Scandium...

Comes from a guy in the Ukraine, so it takes a while to get it. Very well made.
Once I started truck camping I upgraded my Leer to a taller one with carpet lining. Much warmer and more comfortable. I used a Teton Somnia Ultralight cot since it can be placed to the side over a wheel well. Can store stuff underneath and just enough room to sit upright on the cot...
Well, it looks like it's going to happen! After just three days on the market I have three offers on my house. I will be heading to Helena the last week in March...weather permitting.
Found another one that's pretty decent (only 1 side). Less than 50 yards from the tree I sat against several days! They're hard to see in the snow. You practically have to step on them. I also found one side of a much lesser 8-point last week about 30 yards from this one. Will be going back...
I'm partial to Asbell wool coats. Very warm without being heavy (packable even) and not expensive at all. I also have a bunch of stuff from Skre and like it. I have a pair of Merino wool pants from Big Bill that are a bargain.
I missed this thread earlier. Congrats on a very nice buck! I spent a day in the BH while travelling through. Saw a few deer. A very beautiful place and definitely a hunt I would like to do.
Several years ago I had two 6 pointers still in hard antler walk by me...during Spring turkey season in April. A few years ago a buddy and I were hunting the last week of the season (first week in January). He shot a small buck. Both antlers fell off when he rolled down the hill. All these were...
Yes. Only the second time I have done so. These were only about 20 yards apart! I guess once one dropped he was so lopsided he got the other off asap? Lol
I have found sheds before in the NF here in the mountains of Virginia, but nothing like these. I know in some parts of the country these will only get a yawn. Not that common here, though. What makes these such a treat is that my season was a total bust. I saw way more flashlights than deer...
If you change your mind about Big Green I picked up one of the newer Model Sevens with the HS Precision stock in .243 last Fall and am amazed how well it shoots. Just six lbs bare rifle and not much heavier with Talley rings and a VX2 2-7. I did replace the trigger with a Triggertech, though...
