Have a fixed 4x on my rifle. Have shot deer at 50 to 250 without a worry. Easy to use, quick on target up close, enough mag for deer at longer distances.

My Dad had a rack from a big muley he got in the late 60's in northern NM (No WT anywhere around there). 4x4 with eye guards but looked like a whitetail rack. G2 was not forked. IIRC, it had a 28 or 29" spread and was very heavy.
