I had a lot of issues with this before going to the K&M Neck tool. A lot of tools do the VLD cut, but the K&M tool does the best job hand down. You can set your depth and the built-in stops will make sure you are cutting consistently. Also, if you are looking at new presses I'd consider the...
1. No - I run a Redding T7, Frankford M-Press and Hornady L&L so I don't remove dies.
2. No - Imperial Sizing Wax on the outside, never needed it on the inside of the case when using a Redding Type-S bushing Die.
3. I use a Lee Auto Bench Prime and never run in to issues.
Hello all,
I have a buddy trying to sell his once used Mystery Ranch Metcalf. We went on a scouting trip last year and his job ended up preventing him from getting out and hunting. Has never hauled any meat or even been in load haul mode, he keeps it in a tote and couldn't have had more than...
Best of luck in finding the right boot. I ordered the Lathrop & Sons High Country Synergy insoles for my Tibet’s. The included insoles feel fine but I’ve read nothing but great reviews on the synergy insoles so I figured why not give them a shot.

Personally I use Leki poles because I didn't know any better when I bought them. I know people using these Amazon poles with great success. I probably won't buy Leki again after seeing the performance of poles that are a fraction of the cost.
Are you anywhere near a Sportsmans Warehouse? I ordered a pair of Lowa Tibet GTX Hi on the sportsmans website and am picking them up from my local store. When I pick them up I am going to try them next to the Kenetrek Mtn Extreme and Zamberlan Outfitter 980, I will just exchange the Lowas for...
I have a Zephyr 2 and really like it. My only complaint is the weight of it. I think I was able to get it for around $90 or so on steap & cheap. It's a great tent, I can't imagine trying to sleep two people and gear with it but none the less a really solid tent.
I ended up picking up a Kuiu...
California hunters have the tag setup done for this already, it is the same tag as the Mountain Lion and Wolf Tag. It runs under what we call a C1 tag. C1, Shoot 1.
