Help - Need a Muzzy Load for Elk and Moose
I recommend the heaviest bullet your gun will shoot well. I shoot 405 gr. .458 bullets with Harvester Crush Rib Sabots in front of 115 grs. of 777. I've shot 4 elk with them out to 220 yards. Three dropped in their tracks, and the last one ran 50 yards. Pointed bullets tend to slip...- NMHiker
