    In a tree stand over bait, which would be better, a 20 guage slug or 30-06. I'd be within 30 yds of the bait.

    Had my October antelope professionally done as an European mount - very happy with it. Now I don't know if I want to display it on the wall - "hooked" or on wood; or displayed on a table on wood. Hmmm. I know it's an individual choice, but would like to hear from you guys on what you did...

    Wyoming outfitters.

    My two sons are teachers and could only spare 3 days out of the classroom in October. The three of of plus my Son in law used Tyler Sims Outfitting in Mc Fadden, WYO (SE corner) 3 weeks ago, and we all got a buck. I recommend him.

    Delicious

    We saw 100's of antelope! But, they ran when we were within 500 yds - we still all got our speed goat. I had a 170 yd shot, one son a 62 yd shot.

    My two sons and son in law and I hunted area 43 - first antelope hunt. We were all successful. Just had my first taste of antelope - back-strap off the grill. It was tender and delicious! Read where some said it tasted like sage (and worse), but not ours. We Iowa guys had a great time...

    One week from today . . .

    I will be hunting in Area 43 with my two sons and son-in-law one week from today! This is a first for us Iowans and all are excited. Looks like it may be a bit wet/cold!? Good luck to us and all of you coming out to Wyoming this gun season.
