I finally have a pic to share, got Walla Walla sweets and sweet peas in today.
Culivated and composted my Marion berries and planted a couple more Blueberry bushes bring my expanding Blueberry patch to 8 plants.
Yes, I save my own seed stock whenever possible!
Sweet peas. Acorn squash, Winter squash and pole beans of my grandfathers that he saved every year since the 1930's!
Heavy rain and mountian snow last 2 days, 2 inches of rain here at home. More in the way next week.
Once again hopefully some of this makes it 1000 mile east.
Good news, spilling during the spring smolt migration is very much an important and nessesary thing to do.
Salmon smolts do not "swim" to the ocean. They go downstream backwards, and need moving current to accomplish this migration.

My wife and I are set to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this June for two weeks, this is the first time for both of us and we are pumped! Reservations are set and I have been doing a lot of research on what we want to see.
I do hope for any helpful up to date feedback on recent issues...
