    Yes it will work fine. There are better packs. Just go hunting with it and then you can decide from there how you want to spend your money.

    20 year old Model 700 30:06 Practical advice needed

    I had an old 30-06 ADL with the cheap synthetic stock. After a couple of years I dropped it in an HS hunter stock with aluminum blocks and added a Timiney trigger. Left it ADL and couldn’t be happier.

    I’m boring. Got a cheap 700 ADL in 30-06 years ago. Couple years ago I got fancy and dropped it in a better stock with a Timney trigger and never looked back.

    I think most camo is like fishing lures, made to catch customers. That being said I’m guilty of buying wayyy too much camo, and fishing lures. But nice job on the comparison. Always fun to see what it looks like against different backgrounds

    For light to medium weight I like my First Lite mountain compression. FITTS are an American made sock that get over looked. I used some of their heavier “ tactical “ socks in the Infantry. I can’t say enough good things about them. Very similar to Darn Tough
