Bolt locking forward after firing - Savage 110 Storm 7mm Rem Mag
I would measure the chamber, I have a Savage model 10 that the chamber was to short for even factory loads. It wasn't to the extreme like you're having where they bolt would lock shut, but before I figured out what was going on I remember it would be pretty sticky to open and eject the case. -

Antelope/Muley Hunt
If you have enough time and you're hunting antelope in an area that also holds some deer, I'd say get the deer tag also. Never know when you could be out looking for an antelope and stumble across a good deer that you'd like to shoot -

Thanks for all the tips, all of the seem to be confirming the reason I'm hoping I can seal the deal spot and stalk!! I have never really loved ground blind hunting with a bow because of the limited amount of area you can see and animals always seem to sneak up on you. But I do hunt out of one... -
