My second can that was bought but submitted to atf 7 days later. Finally was approved. 143 days. Better then the 270 something a year ago.
Sorry @MTorWY that was close to forever. Especially with all the quick approvals of late.
Also fhf makes a cool way to carry the bipod when hiking. I tried pockets on my pants and they were just too short. I put mine on the bottom of my bino harness. But it’s got an easy molle attachment...

I have both. I have kids and try to get them to shoot off of a tripod. Or wiser precision bipod with the pic attachment...
I own many weatherby rifles. I’ve followed instructions to a T on my first but nothing since. I notice no difference in accuracy. Even the cheapest vanguard I own still out shoots my browning or Christensen.
No. My approval was for my 338 can. With the bogo I asked to upgrade from the 22k to the regular banish 22. Still waiting on that approval.
Now I’m waiting for CLEO stuff then will be where you are at. Last time I kept sending emails to customer service and they would eventually update with...
Just got my approval for my 1 of 2 cans (so much for batching). Submitted to atf in 11/16. Approved 4/4. 140 days. Way faster than my last one of 270 something. Now I wait for the Silencer central process (about 2 more weeks) to get to my house. Not a big deal but it would be nice to just go...
Everyone I see on RS or this site are getting fast turnarounds for individuals. Makes me wish I did individual instead of putting something in my trust.
I’m sure the fast turn over is the exception still but it sure makes me envious.
I have a 7 and 8” can. I run barrels from 18-26”. If I’m in open country the 26” barrel is coming with. If we are in timber I’m going with the shorter barrel for sure.
I like 20-22” as the best barrel length with the suppressors.
I’ve heard their CEO/Founder talk in a few podcasts. He says it’s something that his attorneys have recommended. No idea. I think Silencer shop sends the notification of suppressor in the county as soon as the ATF application is submitted.
No idea.
It’s still easier then I ever thought and...
Congratulations. Sorry it took so long. I’m sure your senators office was the key.
My experience with SC after getting approved was 10ish days for the Sheriff notification then about 7 days for it to be at my house.
Sucks you missed the season. But Congratulations.
I jumped on too. Got a Banish 338. I love my banish 30 gold. It really tames my 300 weatherby. The wait is super annoying but part of the game. This my second time ordering through SC. From order to submitted to the ATF was around 3 days. Hopefully here by next rifle season.
I have a 6.8. It likes the 165 gr Accubond LR hand loads. If I were to shoot factory it would be the 162 copper impact. Gun just shoots those loads great.
Browning Hells canyon SR. Ovix camo. Shot a nice bull elk this year at 200 yds. High shoulder. Ran maybe 25 yds.
I love mine. Short...
Their website lists the weight at 3.5 oz. They do extend over both ends of the suppressor. I have a direct thread can and a quick detach can. I’ve never had an issue with it getting in the way.
Here is a link to the different covers. They are expensive compared to what you’ve bought. But they...
My burn proof gear covers stay in place. The previous ones I had (different companies) would slide forward and back. I won’t buy anything other then burn proof at this point.
I’d be curious if you would feel comfortable to divulge what issues you had with the Backcountry. I’m currently looking at getting one. Just want to know if I should get cold feet.
