    Ended up with a last minute November hunt and finally going to get a hot tent. Seek Outside's lead times are too long so I need to find one second hand in good condition. Prefer the sxl stove but large is fine too. Half liner would be nice. Basically everything that comes in the combo.

    Merino Wool

    Merino is only good as baselayers. I have had great luck with smartwool, my tshirts have lasted years. I am really slim, so FL stuff doesn't fit me well at all. I had a chama too and it got really stretched out of shape after a season. Not a fan. Merino base, synthetic mid, down outer layers for me.
