Co 82 Dead Head
I found this dead head in Colorado unit 82 during first rifle. Looks like it was killed in muzzleloader or archery. If you can tell me the general area I was in, I will send you an ONX waypoint. Left side is a 6. Right side is busted. -

Mid-day water hole setup: Colorado
Good point on the cows. I think this area Should hold cows during because it has the past 2 1st Rifle Seasons. That being said, I guess I won’t know for sure until I get there. Most of the water is low in this area. Im not aware of other water holes up high. There has to be but I have not found... -

Mid-day water hole setup: Colorado
I’m hunting Labor Day weekend and have mapped a high country water hole in an area that holds elk. My question is, do bulls (in the early season) need to water every day? For context, I’ll be hunting southern Colorado. -

drew this unit for late rifle. Going to scout last week of august…more to get acquainted with the area/confirm glassing spots than to look for elk. -

AZ Scouting Trip
Good info. I’m not a veteran but one member of my party is. we’ll have UTV’s as well. Good to know the roads can be swampy. We’ll plan to rely on the UTV. Any word on the Rafael fire? Looks like it burned 80k acres, with a lot of it being in Sycamore canyon. -

Thanks. Definitely have plans to explore Williams. Might bring the wife on the scouting trip and get a hotel in Flagstaff. I see it’s 35min or so from Flagstaff to Williams. About how long of a drive is it to SE part of the unit from Williams? -

When you "update your credit card"...that applies when you need to change the card from the one that you used for the application, correct? They don't have a credit card tied to your portal account to my knowledge. In fact my portal account still shows that I didn't apply, but no worries there...- huntertx

AZ application changes???
I talked to AZGF today (sounds like you did too?) and they said it was fine. Application looks to your account and not necessarily the license number you put on the application. Whew!- huntertx

AZ application changes???
What if you 1) have a license that is valid though Jan 10, 2021 and 2) you bought a new license that starts on Jan 10, 2021 (same day) however you 3) put the new license on the application (the one that starts on Jan 10)...will that kick out your application? I still have a valid license...- huntertx

If you had to pick between unit 8 or 9 late rifle, which would you choose? Looks like my party app has enough point to guarantee a late rifle tag if a certain high point holder joins. My general understanding is that 9 has bigger bulls on average but it’s flat juniper country makes it tough...
