I tip based on service. I'm old enough to remember when some wait staff would go out of their way to make dining out enjoyable. These days that doesn't happen much. They just expect to be tipped because they are there, whether they are going the extra mile or not.
I'll start at 15% and everyone...

If you have a minute perhaps you can help clarify something. You went to great lengths in the podcast to make clear that there is no loss of property tax revenue to the counties associated with conservation easements (of which I am a big fan, by the way). You also gave the example of...
This is my philosophy also. I don't see how you can tell whether you are solvent or not just by looking at the online balance because it doesn't take into account the fact that you have an $1800 mortgage payment coming up in a couple days, or automatic payments for insurance, utilities, etc. My...

Very sad to see this. I saw The Highwaymen in concert in a large arena in New York and it was a great concert. The guys I talked into going with me told me repeatedly for months what a great idea it was to go. Then I saw him perform a solo concert in a small bar (the Buffalo Rose) in Golden...
Excellent conversation. Highly recommended to anyone interested in mule deer (or pronghorns) and scientific research.
@Big Fin what was the name of the book/author you referenced about road crossings? Would be interested in reading that.
