Youth hunting plan critique
I’m referring to the youth hunts specially. For elk I would look at unit 15, 16c,17. These are early October hunts that will still have rut activity and a chance for big bulls. I would also apply for deer in 2b late hunt, unit 4 and 5b. These are trophy mule deer units that are only available...- Psv

I would take a look at New Mexico. The youth hunts they have available are the best tags in the state with pretty good odds. sous Vide Water buffalo
That looks and sounds delicious. I just ordered a sous vide and am going to give it a try with an oryx roast I have in the freezer. Can it be cooked in a regular plastic bag. I don’t have a vacuum sealer yet.- Psv

I’ve never done it myself but every rifle I’ve had built or had rebarreled I’ve had the gun smith do both. -

What rite to get.
The 6.5 does have better ballistics but that will come into play at longer distances and is primarily due to bullet bc. If you don’t have someone hand loading ammo for you, you are limited to just the 2 hornady options currently. I believe nosler is also coming out with ammo for the 6.5 PRC this... -

Your welcome I hope it’s helpful. The scope is a bushnell LRHSi 4.5-18x44. It’s a heavy combination and we definitely felt it by the end of the day as that day we put on 18.5 miles on foot according to my fitness tracker. What’s your location? If your anywhere near northern New Mexico or... -

What rite to get.
The barrel is 26inch 1:8 twist. So far we are only using the factory 143 and 147 gr ammo. It shot less than 1/2 moa so I haven’t put the time in to try anything else yet. My son killed his bull at 582 yards. We hadn’t intended that distance but that’s how it worked out and he is proficient... -

What rite to get.
I have the bergara hmr pro and it is a great rifle, very accurate with the hornady ammo in both the match and Eldx. The 6.5 prc is a great cartridge and will serve you well. My son used it this year for his elk hunt and it performed well.
