Thank you much friend. It's about the experience and nothing else. I'm guessing if we are unsuccessful with the elk then we will be doing more fishing. Beaver "chopper" mitts?
Randy Newberg uses them and I'm sure they're comfortable and warm. Anyone know where you can get them or how to make them? Cold hands are a weakness that I have to combat. Rage Broadheas
I too have had great success with the rage two-blade on whitetail. Even a poor shoot at forty yards the deer fell within sight. They fly great but I'm still a skeptic of folding blades and have had friends and family that have moved to the ramcat...so I believe that is the direction I'm going...- Flat-Lander601

Had friends with great success on whitetail also. Even pass through a on wild hogs every time which says a lot. Enough for me to switch to this summer for the year.- Flat-Lander601

Montana HD 270
First archery elk hunt with a friend in this unit during late September. Any pointers for the new at heart. Unit wasn't my choice but this is a backcountry hunt with an fellow soldier that I served in Afghanistan with. We plan on fishing too. Any hints on that too?- Flat-Lander601
