Quick question...I applied in CO for a first season rifle tag that should be 100% draw. I listed this as first choice. Then I was wanting a cow tag for the same unit that is a B license, again 100% odds. This went as my second choice. Did I do this correctly? Or once your first choice is drawn...
Hi, I was wondering if anyone would have a non factory stock for an older Savage 110 30-06. It's top loading. Looking for something better than the cheap plastic one that is on it now.

This might be a stupid question, but do all or most states have in the application process where you can just purchase point without putting in for a draw? I know Montana and Wyoming you can. How about AZ and CO? I'm aware that in AZ you have to by the hunting license too.

On the way back from town this evening, my wife, kids and I took about 6 miles of level B roads home. Saw 3 massive stud whitetails...Hard to judge with velvet...but the smallest would be around160"ish. !!! One had a really nice drop tine!!

Ok...being an Iowan and having never seen a bear in the wild...what are some general guidelines to tell boar from sow and age? I know this question was asked in a previous thread, but no one has really given a solid explanation on telling between the two or aging.
