Training Resource- Lab for Upland hunting?
I've had success with the training resources from Wildrose. They have a DVD specifically on this, but I haven't used it personally. I've just used the book and some of their youtube videos. Good luck (and good luck finding a DVD player haha!)...- TexAg09

How would you spend my birthday money?
Yup, I bought a "budget spotter" and barely use it because it's about as good as my nice binos. It's a bit of a disappointment. Save your money for a nice one. Also, I rock an Eddie Bauer down jacket, and I'm very happy with it. I think it was less than $100.- TexAg09

Good morning everyone! I was just wondering how you would interpret this forecast (below). It's for the closest town (to the west) of where we will be hunting, and it's at roughly 6K' in elevation. We'll be hunting around 9K' in elevation. I usually figure about a 4F degree drop in temperature...- TexAg09

Sleeping bag for alaska
Is that the only bag you currently have? What kind of temps and elevations are you expecting? I'm assuming some high humidity levels since you'll be along the river?- TexAg09

To hang bear bags or not to hang bear bags when backcountry hunting.
Just a standard roll top dry bag. Nothing crazy or expensive. I might add some reflective tape this year to make it easier to find in the AM. I usually hang mine a couple hundred yards from camp. -

It hangs with Bluebell, but we only get two Tillamook flavors down here and a bajillion Bluebell flavors(it's made a little over an hour from here) so maybe that has something to do with it.- TexAg09

Thanks for this statement. This was an issue before I spent quite a bit of time tuning my bow. I had three arrows that lined up correctly so I just used those exclusively when shooting broadheads.
