    It doesn't really matter if an unlimited district is our, as hunter's, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice. The reason they do unlimited districts first is because of 310-45 and 310-46... If you aren't a holder of permit 310-45, then you won't get 310-46. The only way to guarantee that is do 310-45 drawing...

    Yes, but it's still classified as a permit and they do a "drawing" for it. You have to put in for it to get it.

    Yep, exactly. They drew 100% districts first so your points are not affected yet. The "actual drawing" happen next and that is when we will see movement on the bonus points. Very good sign that things are progressing! I'm assuming Greenhorn saw the "elk permit" in items held but went into this...

    Not necessarily, they "drew" the permits with 100% chances like 310-45 and other areas first. Did you put in for one of the 100% "permits" as 2nd or 3rd choice?

    I get that they have to audit the drawings to make sure they are accurate and fair. They also have to deal with paper applications.... but come on, 5 weeks.... It's called a click of a button. And then another click of the button to verify. I think they need some IT help.

    Thanks, guys! It was a very long night... I'm glad we found. I shoot 70 pounds, 29 inch draw, Montec G5. The shot didn't hit bone so I'm not sure what happened and why it wasn't a pass through unless the scapula did break it off when he took off. Anyways, I'm glad it turned out to be a good shot...
