WY elk PP and General tag questions

Hunting a ranch about ten miles north of Hulett the first week of Sept. Have never shot a Muley with the bow so any decent buck is going to get spanked. We have five days to hunt so I don't want to hold out for a 140" if it doesn't exist. What can a guy expect for Muleys as far as age class... -

Trying to figure out WY tag options
Looking at zone 37 or 36. If I draw a general tag and purchase an archery license I can hunt in sept, correct? Why have an archery only and a general tag in the same zone? is it to keep the bowhunters from coming back in rifle season?
