I could see it if said taxidermist was in high demand and I was a regular customer. I know taxidermists don't go in order received, because the only thing I've used them for is my set of turkey slam fan, beard, legs. Those come back quicker because they can fit them in while there's down time...
There are black barndos and houses popping up everywhere you look around here still. I'm assuming blue state refugees considering they're painting something they intend end to be inside of during a Southern summer black.
Why are people painting metal boxes black and moving into them? I heard...
Varies depending on where and what kind. We started doing what was recommended in parts of the country where morels are common. None of that was true in GA.
Moving directly towards a gobbler is high risk. You sound like a turkey when you walk. If it hears that it may move towards you. It will then see you without you being aware. The game is over.
Everyone who has been chased by a gobbler when scouting preseason raise your hand.
You don't actually...
Just picked up another Yildiz. They put some nice walnut scraps on these cheap guns. This one deserves a refinish.
I had to check POI before I wrap it up for Mother's Day. The box said modified choke, buy I'm not sure. Maybe 7/8oz of T10s will save me the trip to SumToy.
My eyes wouldn't be limited by a 30/30.
The problem is people will rediscover just how good iron sights really are. You're still going to have people slinging them at unsporting ranges.
If you want to limit people, while not burdening them buying special weapons, I suggest revolvers limited to...
Well, first I'd choose to stop using gift as a verb, but that's literally just me.
Henry's new suppressor specials look interesting, but they're not in .308. Whatever I got would be a .308 and either Browning or Henry depending on what I could get my hands on. Availability is not great.
You can't predict what a kid will do down the road. A rifle you both use together is most likely to stay with him.
So, make that 308 something you actually want to use, with easily adjustable stock length for when you hunt together.
"under $20,000 after the $7,500 federal clean vehicle tax credit. "
I just wish somebody would sell a vehicle I didn't have to help pay for. We're in a place where businesses don't have to build for profit. They just have to break even make something politicians will subsidize.
Had similar with a T/C Contender. It has a switch on the hammer to select for rimfire or centerfire and it's possible to not engage fully. I think my daughter was a little tired of me by the third try. Fortunately this was on a young buck, not a gobbler. It was not as wary as it needed to be.
