Tipping Taxidermist
I could see it if said taxidermist was in high demand and I was a regular customer. I know taxidermists don't go in order received, because the only thing I've used them for is my set of turkey slam fan, beard, legs. Those come back quicker because they can fit them in while there's down time...- howl

How many still tip waiters and waitresses at 20% or more?
I tipped extra during that mess, but not now. 20% is only for perfect service. Usually 15%, but if I have to walk my check to the cashier it's 10%. .- howl

Varies depending on where and what kind. We started doing what was recommended in parts of the country where morels are common. None of that was true in GA.- howl

For the guys running the Single Shot .410s
Just picked up another Yildiz. They put some nice walnut scraps on these cheap guns. This one deserves a refinish. I had to check POI before I wrap it up for Mother's Day. The box said modified choke, buy I'm not sure. Maybe 7/8oz of T10s will save me the trip to SumToy.- howl

Lever Guns, what would you choose & why?
Well, first I'd choose to stop using gift as a verb, but that's literally just me. Henry's new suppressor specials look interesting, but they're not in .308. Whatever I got would be a .308 and either Browning or Henry depending on what I could get my hands on. Availability is not great. -

Nice rifle for a teenager to pass down
You can't predict what a kid will do down the road. A rifle you both use together is most likely to stay with him. So, make that 308 something you actually want to use, with easily adjustable stock length for when you hunt together. -

For the guys running the Single Shot .410s
Had similar with a T/C Contender. It has a switch on the hammer to select for rimfire or centerfire and it's possible to not engage fully. I think my daughter was a little tired of me by the third try. Fortunately this was on a young buck, not a gobbler. It was not as wary as it needed to be.- howl
