Idaho Elk Unit 46 this December Info Rqst
Anyone have good local knowledge of elk hunting in Unit 46 in December. I'm guessing it is their wintering grounds or they migrate through there. This is my last ditch effort for my first elk with my Super Hunt tag. I'm a Marine stationed in 29 Palms and I can't get there until the Christmas...- livingston99

I am one of this year's winners. After an early Oct elk hunt, unfortunately it's still in my pocket. I refused to shoot a spike. Stationed down in So Cal so it's been hard to get back but I might try and get up to Unit 46 during the holidays. I called IDFG to see if I could give it to...- livingston99

Idaho unit 40 buck tag
Gosh I hope I'm not too late...Go to South Mountain. Drive to the top as far as you can - hunt the ridges. If you get this and need grids for some I saw last month, let me know.- livingston99
