I assume this must be a new thread about the 5600 or so R5 whitetail doe tags we can have 7 of? I can't wait to hunt the crap out of them. To be fair, I did not realize the OG thread was gone either until today. Also, I don't have any of those doe tags.
Isn't this the unit where all the big boys hit the private trust land bordering 316 later in the season (how does anyone even get this land anyhow)? Joking, but good luck if you manage to get back in there. Would love to see the horrible start turn around into a good memory.
I learned the hard way why people tow $100k worth of toys and camper behind an $80k+ diesel this year after my paid off pile of crap spent half the season being troubleshooted and the other half waiting on parts. So unless I get a new 2024 silverado, 36+ foot 5th wheel, and polaris razr I am...
Just read of a rumor that there may be a Griz on the East side of MT's HD410 on the Mussleshell river. Be curious if this is fact or fiction. If so, they are moving East faster than I expected. I assumed maybe in the next 2 or 3 years before we heard of one in that area.
Got mine fixed for now also. Not sure how, but apparently my drive shaft got messed up during install somehow or just failed due to my new transmission. News to me. But it does not sound like its going to blow up above 40mph anymore so I will take it.
I would be up for it. As of now, my season is at a stand still pending what my mechanic tells me tomorrow or later this week. Either more work at this point or I might just need to bite the bullet and buy a new truck finally.
I started the year in the 215-220 range. Down to 190 and my Sitka pants fit again and don't need to be replaced. Goal 1 is complete. Goal 2 is hoping the gym time over the last 3 years helps me haul an elk (hopefully my own for once...) out easier.
