NM Unit 51 December Muzzleloader - what to expect?

Drew new mexico 51 dec muzzleloader this year and would like to know anything you would be willing to share about the weather camping and everything else. I also drew colorado 80/81 archery elk.

Mike, How did your hunt go? How was the snow/weather and roads? I drew 51 December elk muzzleloader this year and live in Minnesota so will not be able to get any scouting in but will get there a few days early. Did you tent, camper, cabin/hotel? any info is appreciated. thank you phil

Northern Minnesota Hunter looking for hunting partner

I hunt archery and rifle and will be doing both this year. I just applied for a Wyoming elk tag that I will most likely not draw with 7 points but have been trying to figure out a hunting schedule for an Elk hunt and then some deer hunts. What are you planning for your hunt/hunts?

I am 42yrs old and live in northern Mn. I archery hunted for elk in Colorado and deer in Nebraska then hunted Mule deer in Wyoming and Minnesota with rifle. I was successful in Wyoming and Minnesota and had 2 misses in Colorado. I am looking to do something similar this year but would like to...
