New Mexico Unit 9
The key to Unit 9 is finding the elk. I would look towards the northern part of the unit in the BLM as my family has done well there. It doesn't look like 'elky country' by an means but they are in there. Don't expect a gila bull but if you have the time a 300 inch bull can be found. Good...- backstraps16

NM map I would like to purchase the NM map. I have a few questions though. If I purchase the chip will I be able to use google earth on my Mac with unit boundaries? Or should I download the map software instead of getting the chip. Thanks- backstraps16
