In preparation of hunting season I have decided to run a 5k. I HATE RUNNING, but I'm giving it a go in the name of elk. So I started couch to 5k 4 weeks ago and seems to be moving along well. The run is Labor Day weekend so just enough time to get ready.
I think sheep is one of the coolest animals in the west but I'm with you on only doing raffles. I retire in 4.5 years and am thinking as a gift to myself doing west texas auodad.
Did a little shooting today. After about 50 bucks worth of bullets and powder I realized that I was moving my sights the wrong way. So after feeling like a dumb ass I cleaned the muzzy and took my wife out for supper.
A few hiking trips with the boots and pack getting ready for elk season.
Plenty of yellow oyster mushrooms around.
Found this funky looking thing but left it alone. Did not have my mushroom identification guide with me.
Also found a deerstand left from last year, along with a ground...
Been awhile so time for some updates.
I haven't done alot but been out a little bit. I did draw my first choice colorado muzzy elk tag, I will be hunting with my older son and hopefully other boy can come out to hang out with us for a few days.
Decided to try a Williams sight this year only...
