Father/Son Elk Hunt
My 13 year old son and I had a fantastic elk hunt over Thanksgiving. He shot his first elk (cow) on Friday around 3 p.m. in her bed at 200 yards with his 7-08, one shot. Wyoming Elk area 39-1
I just got lucky in the draw with a 39-1 tag. First time applying in Wyo., random draw. Not sure how I beat those odds... I am wondering if anyone has hunted in the area and might want to share some information. Thank you for your time. -

There is an article in the Billings Gazette This morning (Sat. 12/7/13). Titled "No Does; State considering no antlerless "B" hunting. A step in the right direction, for sure. But, years to late....maybe FWP is waking up.... -
12 Year old Son's Buck
This is a buck my 12 year old took last weekend. Had a great stalk and he did the rest like a pro. Seen a lot of one shot kills with that 7mm-08 caliber. He took a buck last year as a 11 year old that was also a nice 4pt. Fun times.....
