RMEF headquarters
Made my first visit to the RMEF headquarters and visitor center this week. I was very impressed with the facility, outdoor interpretive trails, and the interactive indoor displays. Amazon Fresh Tracks

Spotting scope size, style and phonescopes
What do you guys prefer, straight line spotters or angled? 60mm or 80mm - what's the difference? And lastly, do you use a phone scope when spotting or just for pics? Thanks for any input and advice. -

Excited for 4th season
I have a Colorado 4th season deer tag in unit 15. Getting excited for my first mule deer hunt. Took me 14 years to draw the tag. Bow hunt elk in Colorado every year but this unit is new to me. Scouted it in July to get familiar with it. I guess the weather can determine the hunt. Fired up... -

What caliber Kimber??
Looking at getting a Kimber Hunter. Favoring 30.06 but wondering if the .308 or 7 mm a better choice. Somebody told me 30.06 might be a little much for the light rifle. What are your experiences or opinions. Intended for mule deer. Thanks for any input. -
