Applied for 35L this year. Most years have only purchased points due to other fall plans. SD antelope is similar, by the time the draw deadline comes around usually October is pretty busy.
Probably not a lot of people willing to sell what they have if they use it. Also unlikely to find any on the shelves right now.
I also have a muzzy tag and just ran out of the last of my older 10 oz container. Hopefully there will be another run of it in the near future or I will need to go...
I was wondering how open earlier tag holders would be with information especially since it is such a limited opportunity even for residents. Typically it is a lot easier to get information on a OIL tag versus a OTC tag.
Thanks for the advice. I have been doing quite a bit of looking on that forum as well as MM but have been reluctant being the guy joining after drawing the tag. Not hunting the Zion, so elk should be easier to find. I will send you a PM.
I unexpectedly drew a Limited Entry Elk tag this year in south central Utah. Looking for suggestions on hunt planning. It is a muzzy tag opening Sept. 21 through October 2. I have never been in the unit or hunted Utah before. I live around 16 hours away which will make scouting challenging.

My ZG 6.5 arrived at my dealer earlier this month and I am currently about 2 weeks in on ATF. Looks like forn 4 trusts are averaging 25 days, which would be fine by me. Curious if it makes a difference being my first supressor versus someone who has had previous approvals?
The wife and I are only in for moose, but it probably would be best not to draw after pulling a UT elk tag. This is the last application I had submitted prior to UT results.
First thought when you see something other than unsuccessful, is you made a mistake on the application. I typically put little thought into my Utah app choices with such a low expectation to draw.
I have used Long Beard XR for quite awhile now. Typically only shoot a few rounds a year depending on how many tags I have. For how few shells I shoot the actual cost is probably not the limiting factor. The thought of a tinu tungsten pellets in the meat is more of a concern. My wife already...
I am also in the market for my first supressor. Have considered one for awhile, but with my daughter going on her first deer hunt this year, it has pushed me to get one. Good time to buy with the stamp fee going away and processing times having been better though there may be some delays in the...
