I feel like most negative arguments about public schools mirror what we see folks saying about public lands. Adequately fund and manage them and most of the issues that are being complained about go away.
My brother has raised hogs a few times and I usually help butcher. We did the hot water/blanket/scrape method once, was a chore and didn’t seem worth it over skinning to me.
Shooting hot rounds of unknown quality through a cheap .50 with screw on breech...not saying it was totally his fault, but sure as heck isn't something I would try. Very lucky he survived that, but it got 38 million views, so I guess that's a win for a youtuber. 🤷♂️
Ok got the trip mapped out - Austin to SA (by way of New Braunfels) to Bandera County to Fredericksburg area and then back to Austin. Should be a fun week.
Bringing the fam to TX for a week at the end of March, planning to do a couple days in Austin and a couple in San Antonio. Need a recommendation for which hill country town we should stay in for a couple days and any must see places other than the popular touristy spots. Gracias!
