    Best Colorado antelope units?

Unless you're dead set on Colorado, I'd take take a look at a guided hunt in Eastern Wyoming more animals and better quality. IMO With no points outfitted is the way to go if you want to hunt next year.

Reduction in number of NR deer licenses

But playing devils advocate here, based on @Gerald Martin post 10% of tags, total would be 19377 and that's only general tags I'm assuming in those numbers not including permits. Bottom line is this, the MTFWP dishes out to many deer tags across the board and needs to go full draw for both...

    Source for disposable game bags

Large pillow cases work amazing and they are cheap.

    2025 Whitetail WV

I miss hunting those WV mountains. I need to get back up there. I beat around the mountains in VA (home) now. Nothing like a good mountain buck. Beautiful bucks and congrats to you both!

    Black Hills Buck

We hunted just across the line this year on public. Seen lots of cookie cutter 8s only one 10 on private. I'd say that's a darn nice buck compared to the deer we saw.

    Crossing State lines & Euromounts

I pop them right after the first pull. The sooner the better, it breaks up all that tissue laying under the skull.

    Crossing State lines & Euromounts

I may have missed someone mentioning it but the ear canals I pop out with a four way screwdriver. Stick it right down the ear canal and pry it out. Gives you more access to the brain area for easier cleaning.

    Crossing State lines & Euromounts

I like to use a steel brush to clean that spot. Probably the worst area to get clean IMO.

2025 Colorado Elk Success & Recap

With elk always drive, flying is doable with deer and smaller game. Elk will break a guy flying really quickly. I made that mistake only once.

Which western states have been disproportionately good to you in drawing tags?

I'm ashamed to admitting my good fortune in NM. But here goes, 3 exceptional elk tags, 2 antelope tags, 1 pretty good mulie tag, 1 OIL oryx. Since 2018. Sorry guys! The system loves me! But we won't talk about all the years I drew nothing.

    Remote Maine
