I ask all of you, the Next time you get next to a Montana Wildlife Federation guy, ask them why they oppose the sale or trade of federal lands but signed off on a deal that give away 58 500 acres of Public land.. They could have made the deal the Tribe would get all the water rights they deserve...- howler

Yep just look at the map, its the middle attachment all total the tribe is getting over 58 thousand but some of those acres are already on the reservation (the state lands)- howler

One thing should remain perfectly clear, the sportsmen of Montana do not have any issues with the Tribe getting water rights and or additional water rights, We also don't have a problem with the 21 thousand acres of state lands within the reservation boundary being transferred but what riles us...- howler

I remember the previous water bill and to a greater extent the land give away,, there may have been a few changes in the new bill but the land give away is most important to me and is an absolute deal breaker. every chance you get tell your senator and congressman that you do not support this bill- howler
