    Nosler Accubond LR

    Does anyone has experience with this projectile on elk and deer? I'm thinking of trying them in the 190 gr for the 300 RUM. Looks like they would perform out to 1500 yards. Although I would never shoot them that far, they do have excellent BC's.

    Youth hunt was a blast

    Still killing ducks on the west side of the state. Had a opportunity to introduce duck hunting to a fine young man today. We had lots of ducks finish and fly away unscathed but all in all it was a blast hunting with these two youngsters.

    Girls can shoot big guns well!!!!

    I have had 200 head in my back yard all season and finally had enough of them. Invited a buddy and his daughter over to take out a nice cow. She made a great shot with my 300 ultra mag. This was her first elk. I love to watch elk go down like a sack of spuds.

    28 Drake opener......

    All I can say is we had a blast. My 5 year old son got to call his first duck in. Both of my lab pups got some good work in with a few long blind retrieves. Took all of about 30 minutes and we were done. Great hatch this year. Should be an epic season.

    My pup did good!!!!

    Cheeto's first AKC hunt test pass today. I'm very proud of him, he is 12 months old and doing very well. Anyone else out there running hunt test this year? I ran my 8 month old but he did not get a call back. Going to give it another try tomorrow in Missoula.
