    My first fall black bear since 1994. I'd almost forgot how fun it was! Good reason to be extra choosy in the spring. He had over an inch of fat across his back. Should be a good eater. Shot from the ridge off to my right at 488 meters. GAP .260, 130gr Berger VLD.

    Bro's Ram!

    What a priviledge, getting to take part in this! The wait for little brother was worthwhile when we met up with this 7 1/2 year old broomed ram on November 8th. The long side was 40+" with both bases over 16". He even let me hold it!....grin!

    Here's a mule deer...

    I took this buck last week. I had seen this buck three times in the last two years, once this past September. One of the heaviest bucks I've killed. More on him later.....packing for a go at Bighorns in the Breaks.

    Bittersweet Buck...

    In early September I found this buck on several occasions and ended up with some decent still pics and a little video clip or two. Greenhorn and I found him again after he went out of velvet and he had one close encounter with the buck winning a 30 minute stare down, just out of bow range...

    This Year's Buck..

    I've never done this before....shot a mule deer buck on opening day. I've watched him on and off for several months. Also picked up a set of his sheds from two years ago. It's fun to watch these bucks grow up..

    We had a great one today.....everybody was involved. It was perfect!! Her shot was 255 meters with my .260. Of course the boys are claiming this buck as theirs!! They are hired for life!.....grin!!

    12 Year Old Ram...NWT

    My two good friends, Chip and Al pose with a ram Chip shot a few weeks ago. They taped him at 165" B&C. This was Al Klassen's 111th ram he has guided/taken in his sheep hunting career!! Al is going to be up here in late October hunting mule deer with me....I cant wait!!
