I have a Labradar with external trigger and external battery. Despite best efforts misses ~10% of shots. Routinely errors on bolt open/closure. Setup and ease of use Garmin wins hands down. Head to head <1% velocity difference. I'll likely have the Labradar up for sale shortly.

My experience for spring bear in SW Idaho has been different. The overwhelming majority of those I see are from 10 AM -2 pm. From a few years back same drainage, sow with 2 cubs and another loner. Maybe I would see more if I stayed out later, but never needed. Just find a good spot...
I have the same gun(30 wsm phl). If I didn't already have the same caliber, I would have purchased gun in question(I assume from MM classifieds). Couldn't be happier. Shoots great, compact and light. I have a 257 HS as well. More like a year than 6 month wait....
