Hard Water Fishing

Whoa Bambi!!!
Well since my threads got deleted last night I'll try this again. This is a yearling deer that got stuck out on the ice. I probably wouldn't get back up if this happened to me. -

Well here it is....
Finally got these pics from my dad and scanned them. He isn't as big as I thought. F&G said he was the biggest they seen come out of the area, they figured it scored around 170". My cousin took this picture in the area we hunt for mulies. An hour later he had the bigger buck, the one on the right, broadside at 40 yards. He took a shot with his bow and the arrow glanced off some sagebrush and flew right over his back. He was a 4X4 with decent eye guards and he figured... -

A bonus while hunting
Found a couple sheds while out hunting. I thought they were a match, but they're not. A couple good sheds though. -

Another nice elk
This bull was shot near the same ranch as where Chuck Adams shot the world record typical bull a few years back. It's a perfect 6X6, 380" gross/369" net scores. This guy shot it 15 min. into opening morning. -

Got an elk
Left on Sept. 4 at 6:00 am for a week long elk hunt and took the shot at 40 yards on this bull at 7:00 pm the night of the 4th. I double lunged him and he didn't even go 50 yards. It took me and my hunting partner 7 hours to get him out. This is the biggest bull I've ever got and with a bow. -

Bucks in MT (Testing)
Well had a little luck this year hunting mule deer. Took 21 days off work and set my wall tent up in the mountains. After watching 17 different bucks for a couple days dad and I each got a decent one on the third day. It was nice to relax the rest of my vacation. I got a 4 point, 26" wide...
