WY Elk - Area 37

Son and I are headed out towards the end of October to fill a couple cow tags in area 37. This is in the Big Horns west of Sheridan. Wondering if anyone has hunted this area before and could offer some thoughts on elk in this unit. Thanks Rick

Bears ?

Okay no licenses for the area near Buffalo, WY during archery season it seems. There are licenses for area 51 & 52 near eastern border of Yellowstone however. Realistically, what the chances of a grizzly encounter during the WY archery elk season in these areas ? Thanks. Rick

Advice for 1st Elk Bowhunt

After chasing whitetails for a number of years here in Mich, decided to try for elk. Going this Sept somewhere around Buffalo, WY.. Would sure appreciate any tips/advice on the hunt itself and also the Buffalo area. Thanks much. Rick
