Just got back from the cabin
Even though it was too hot we did see a few Bears. We spiked out 3 nights. What weather. We paterned a nice tide flat for 2 nights waiting for the right time and on the 3rd night the wind was perfect. Chuck moved into position early and the 338 spoke at about 7:30 pm. the season has begun
Blacktail and Goat opened up yesterday. A father and son from Kokomo Id come in tomorrow for the first hunt of the fall. We are scheduled to fly out Monday about noon to a Goat lake. Hope we have some good weather and the bugs ain't to bad. Good luck on your early fall hunts. Johnnie- muskeg

Jens didn't pull the trigger. We had a great weekend. Camped out and had some very good weather. Actually the weather was to good. Our Bears don't like nice weather.
