Well, the time has come to say that we got a bull. Actually, if Dale and I could shoot worth a $hit we would have had two bulls..... I ended up with a nice 5X5 that had one of his points broken off. I'll get Dale to post the pictures (go figure I work for a computer company, but don't know...

The country we're hunting in this year is steep, steep, steep. I'm pretty sure I remember the rules of thumb when it comes to shooting up or down elevations, but wanted to get a couple others beliefs to make sure I'm not smokin' crack down here.
We don't have many chances to shoot at...
Trying to figure out what effect the lack of rain is gonna have on the monster I'm gonna shoot this fall. I've heard some folks say that it only reduces the overall score by about 20"'s or so, while I've also heard #'s 2 and 3 times that.
Any ideas????
Has anyone ever been buffalo hunting. We started putting in for it this year and have no clue how difficult it actually is to get one of those dudes. If it's anything like Yellowstone I'll be taking a feed bucket and camera with me cause it doesn't seem to difficult to hunt the things...

Tom,
I just got around to my e-mails and am trying to catch up on the details surrounding the exotic hunt. Does that ranch have a website???? In one of the other topics I thought someone mentioned something about everyone staying together. I'm trying to figure out what is included in the...
Anyone having any luck with the early season's????
We've been once down on the coast but the birds weren't flying.... A couple of my buddies out in West Texas (San Angelo) apparently are slaying the greenwings!!!!!! Sounds like I should have headed West instead of South!!!!!!!
:cool...
This past weekend I saw the weirdest looking dove I'd ever seen and don't know if this bird was it's on species or what. The thing was about half again bigger than a white wing, but was real light grey and had a black spot on its neck. Does anyone know what this is called???? I thought I may...
Last night I was out on the water and saw a $hitload of birds coming in. I must have counted at least 50 pintails and just as many mallards and woodies over the course of the afternoon....
Anyone else out there getting pumped up about the upcoming season??????
   :cool...
We went down to the coast last August to go tuna fishing, little did we know what was about to happen.... The sun, stars, and moon lined up that day.
What usually was a two hour trip out, took 45 minutes because the seas had settled. To make a long story short we ended up cathcing 400 lbs...
I'm down here in Central Texas. I spend most of my time around here, but head to the Texas Coast a couple of times a year for a goose hunt. What about ya'll????
