For those of you who are coming out here this year, it should be as good as it gets, cause we had rain galore.
Yesterday was a bowhunting competition of SA Bowhunters Association. We all got soaked, but nobody complained about getting wet.

I had the privilege of guiding a great hunter from upstate New York by name of John Rachow. I host him a free web site (we designed the contents as a team), so that his family and cyber friends can share in the experience. Every time we travelled near a phone line, I hastily uploaded the day's...
Besides some predator calling on Friday and Saturday evenings, I'll be staying at home like a good father and husband should. And I'll be accumulating many many points indeed, valueble points that I will need with a hectic hunting season planned ahead.
What shall I do? Well, clean the pool...

I spent 2 weekends on a ranch that provides for bow only.
Managed to get 3 baboons, 2 impala and a wart hog.
Great hides. Drew my bow on waterbuck, bushbuck and wildebeest, but could not afford to release those arrows.

Went out calling for jackal on Saturday night, with all the usual paraphinalia (spelling?). Got only 1, with little sleep.
My buddie was sitting on his butt at a water hole waiting for wart hog, and shot 3 jackal in broad daylight!
That is not fair.
